Days 1 & 2
A scenic flight into the Talkeetna Mountains brings you to a perfect mountain meadow. If geology is your
passion, then this is
definitely the perfect destination. Geologists from around the nation travel to this spot to search out fossils and study the
unique rock formations. When the flowers are in bloom this green carpet of high alpine grass is stunning. You may spend as much
time as desired here.
Days 3
Let the journey begin! From this mountain meadow you can head in nearly any direction. This trip has so
many possibilities that your daily destination may be decided each morning at breakfast. The gentle Talkeetna Mountains roll
along through countless streams, valleys and meadows. This is truly a hikers paradise.
Days 4 & 5
There are so many possibilities on this hike that it is nearly impossible to give an itinerary. This is an awesome
hiking arena for the wanderer at heart. Eventually pick-up will be arranged at one of the several possible airstrips, and your
expedition will conclude with a breathtaking recap of the wilderness you just traversed.
